Mom and Dad
As mom and dad, it is hard to receive news from a doctor that your child has any type of disease or disorder.  It is also hard to have your child be taken in for surgery so often and knowing that we are probably just in the beginning.  However, we are so thankful that it is not anything worse than what it is.  We always say that it could be much worse.  We are aware of many other moms and dads that have to go thru much harder things that we do.

Having faith in God gives us peace in knowing that everything will be ok.  We do not allow this bring us down.  We are very strong people and teach our kids to do the same.  We teach our boys to put their faith in God and trust that He is in control of everything.  We have a lot of fun at our house and make every situation to be fun and the best that we can.  We try to spend a lot of time with our boys and goof off as often as possible.  We are a close family, but also go thru the average family things as everyone else does.  We are more than thankful for everyone's love and support, along with prayers as they are always welcomed.

Big Brother, David

Tyler’s brother, David, turned 15 in August and is in the 10th grade.  He is a loving person and fun to be around.  It is obvious he cares about people and loves his little brother.

David is the family athlete, beginning with baseball when he was just 5 years old.  During his second year of ball, his Dad, Steve, took over coaching him and has continued to coaching him until this summer.  He now proudly plays baseball for his high school.

David has had many "wins" in his athletic career.  In his league, he and his teams have won 126 games and only lost five. They have won 6 out of 8 championships.  An all around athlete, he loves to play football, and, of course, shoot some hoops with his friends.
